We would highly recommend choosing Coltsfoot Country Retreat as your wedding venue. The setting is stunning,the owners Richard and Jenny are so friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. Charlotte and Emma were on hand on the day to make sure everything went smoothly which made the day perfect. The food was superb, our compliments to the chef. The rooms were wonderful, spotlessly clean each having their own character and views over the Hertfordshire countryside. A big thank you to Coltsfoot and all the team

My partner and I got married at Coltsfoot in July. The whole planning process was made stress free with Jess who assisted us every step of the way. Emma showed us around and assisted with any queries we had regarding the big day. Emma helped us set up the venue the day before and ensured everything was just as we wanted it. On the day Jess was there to ensure everything ran smoothly. All of the staff who were there on our big day were incredible and helpful and made our guests feel welcome to the venue. The food at Coltsfoot was incredible. We had so many compliments from our guests in regards to the grounds, location, privacy and intimacy of the venue. Thank you all so much for your amazing help and ensuring we had the best day of our lives!

Coltsfoot was the first venue we looked at for our wedding and we instantly fell in love. Nothing else came even close after that.
The team were so warm and welcoming and have looked after us so well from our initial booking until the big day itself - particularly through covid when there was so much uncertainty.
The service on the day was outstanding and everyone commented how friendly the waiting/bar staff were from start to finish. 100% Recommended.

We had the most fantastic day. The attention Jess and Emma gave us was second to none, and nothing was a too much trouble. From the start through to the following morning they were on hand to make the day go as smoothly and seamlessly as possible. The staff were great at dinner and during the entire evening. Chef .... your food was outstanding!

Coltsfoot is a stunning venue, so many guests commented on how beautiful it was. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at ease on our special day, they were friendly and delivered all of our requests. Many guests commented on the wonderful and delicious food. We had a wonderful day and cannot recommend Coltsfoot enough.
